Want to make $100?

George, I'll go to a camera store tomorrow (rare ocassion, I get to go to Chicago alone). Keep your fingers crossed! :)

that seems to be the universal condition.

Everyone HAD one.

I'd bet there is one buyer sucking them all up, only to let them out at horrid prices, slowly, on Ebay. It would be a very profitable business, given their average 100% markup from retail . . .and probably 200% from wholesale.

Want the 100mm F/4.5 lens for the Bronica RF645.

Or the 135mm, because I know someone who is willing to trade one for the other.

not to be a snob, which I am sure i have already done here, but if you are interested in helping me out, please only PM me any leads, because otherwise lurkers will snatch them up. The same lurkers that snipe the Ebay listings and have bought up all the others on the net.

and I believe in conspiracy theories and aliens and all that too :D

no really, I'm trying to raise my batting average here.

LOL, I was going to post another lead to one I found listed for sale for £499, but I'll PM it instead.

I am searching for a RF 135mm lens.... :)

As for the HK connection... what about contacting Dr. Joseph Yao ?

You can find some contact info here

http://www.nemeng.com/leica/004e.shtml

Maybe he will help you locate one.

Too late, Joseph Yao is the dealer who sold me his LAST RF645 set...... ( and a new Ricoh GR21 as well....)

I received a Cabin Pro 67 projector from Cathay Photo in Singapore yesterday and when I ordered, I asked them about RF645 stuff -they don't have any thing...

Try...

I've been looking for a 135 as well, and have had even less luck. I mean, I have not even seen a single ad for one. Anywhere. Not even a hint of an ad.

One source I saw said there were only 200 of the 135mm lenses made and most were recalled. OTOH, I suppose there isn't much demand either.

well, I don't know how this is going to turn out.

I am seriously thinking about putting that kind of money into a decent CV kit with a 75mm color heliar for my longer work. Might be nice to have another camera.

Would amount to about the same price. Only thing is, I really want to complete the Bronica setup. I will always feel like an amputee without that 100mm.

You know what. . . .let's make it a cool $700 for the lens.

If you can find a 100mm F/4.5 for the Bronica RF645, buy it and I'll pay you 700 USD for it, no matter how much you paid for it. If you show me to a link or give me a phone number or an address (if near Seattle) where one is and I am actually able to buy it (must be $700 or less), I'll send you $100 through Paypal.

How's that for raising the ante just a tad?

I can't sleep at night. This must be dealt with. :D

yikes

It is done. Clarence has found me one, and it is set to fly off tomorrow from the UK.

Thanks, Clarence. I owe you one.

One hundred, actually.

Hello George,

It took about 3 hours of searching. I'm sorry that it was a tad pricey, but it was in the box and all, I suppose. I really hope you enjoy the lens! But you're such a Bronica RF fanatic you probably will.

Thank you very much, George.

WarehouseExpress does not have the lens for sale. The pricelist is merely a pricelist. Not an inventory list.
Thanks, though

Unless there's a Warehouseexpress in the US, I haven't seen any Bronica equipment on the UK site for some considerable time.

George, that was fast! Renewed anticipatory congratulations!

Robert, that lens in Holland is not the correct one for the RF camera; he needed the 100mm f/4.5 Zenzanon-RF... :)

If you see a 135mm f/4.5 Zenzanon-RF, please let me know!
