I'll bet a 50 f/1 or f/1.2 would sell like the proverbial pancakes! The Noctilux is totally out of reach for many (most?) at this point.

I would think Mr. K could reverse engineer the Canon LTM 50 f/1.2 and crank out a batch in short order!

I have wondered if there might be an update to the 50 f1.5 in the long range plans. Now none of their current bodies are LTM and all the newer lenses are M-mount, right? So I wonder if eventually there might be some sort of update to the 50 f1.5.

As for 50 f1 or f1.2, not even sure if the Bessa viewfinder is accurate enough to be able to focus such beasts properly. I'm guessing a longer finder base might be necessary, and I think that's even less likely.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. What about a take off of the original 1.2 Noctilux? My Nikkor 50mm 1.2 Ai-S is a wonderful lens to use. If Voigtlander could offer anything even close to that I would buy it in a heart beat.
