The Kontax saga [ Contax / Kiev ] is still ongoing - Contax III - original , is back in Ukraine having the meter sorted , and the bitsa Contax II is being revived by Kiev - with clear internal engraving to say so ... silver paint to the body and tan leather - so no pretender !
But I still dream of a nickel plated Contax II or III .[ with tan leather of course ]
I have a guy in UK to strip it if it's still intact , and rebuild it as required and the plating is sorted . It is not gonna be original , so Kiev bits might appear [ purists look away ]
Can anyone help - otherwise it will have to be a humble KNeB II .
