OK, Well some of you may have seen that currently in Japan there is a Secondhand Camera Fare going on... I have taken a few shots of the various displays and will post in groups. Sorry if this might not be the best way to do this..
I have bought a bunch of stuff on a few recomendations and will post them in the classifieds in the next few days, Mainly Hoods Filters etc. 😀
Anyway IF you dont want to either have a GAS Attack or feel SICK do yourself a favour and do not continue with this thread!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARENED! :bang:
Now for the rest I'll start with the standard Leica stuff first. 😀

And 180 odd yen to the Pound...
Now look again and look at the Filter to the Left!!!!!!
A FILTER for theNikon 5cm f1.1 inc pouch for 294000 yen!!!!!
The Lens itself is on the right for 472500 yen!!

There was a fair amount of Canon Glass... Filters/Hoods/etc but the bodies were strangly scarse. Don't know why. It was the opposite with regards Nikon RF gear Lots of bodies very scarse spluttering of glass and accesories...
FYI I didn't get there untill past 2pm, Fair started at 10am. But the most interesting thing for me was that One seller had prepaired 10 secondhand RD-1s....
ALL GONE by the time I had got there!!...

I think I made it out OK only bought some Filters, Hoods and a PC Synch Cap!

it looks like a great time! i too found prices to be a bit high in Japan while i was there, it didn't stop me drooling though. in general, most cameras i saw in japan were out of the display case and available to play with...i spent hours messing with them...

I don't remember where, but I do recall reading that more than half of all the Leicas ever produced are presently in Japan.
