Actually the term "bug in the program" dates all the way before ENIAC, when computer programs were hard wired into the systems. A roach, beetle or some other creepy-crawly would get inside the box looking for warmth and mess up the program by shorting out some circuits.

Yeah, when the 1st generation MacBooks came out, there were rumours of that being possible. There have been cases. But my 1st generation MacBook has never had a problem... other than just not having enough RAM.
