I am finding this really difficult to pin down.
Does anyone know with any certainty what the Leica warranty is, in the United States, for a Leica M-E or a Leica MM (Monochrom) purchased new from a Leica authorized dealer?
I have seen it listed as One Year and seen it listed as Two Year.
I am referring to the Leica manufacturers warranty, not a third party warranty on the camera.
If anyone could share their knowledge or experience on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
Best,
-Tim

Two years world-wide and on the camera, irrespective of first or subsequent owner (which exceeds the guaranty given by the USA importer). If you buy the camera used you will need the original bill with it.

I received 2 years on a grey imported American M9P bought in HK. I was very impressed to say the least when i took it for a CLA and it was free!
