Warranty Question

If I buy a used R-D1 with over a year remaining on manufacturers warranty - is it transferable to cover the new owner?

I should think so, my certificate of autenticity says it should be tranferred to the new owner hould the camera be sold, I see no reason for the warranty being a different thing.
Alternatively, if you buy the camera in the UK, you can ask the seller if he is prepared to handle any issue with Epson should the camera break down during the warranty period, I am sure he will be prepared to help should the need arise.
