Washington DC Leica Store

I went over to the new DC Leica store grand opening after work. They had a guest list for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, but were letting people in to take a sneak peek. While inside, I was treated very well, and was offered drinks and hors d'oeuvres despite not being on the "guest" list.

I've attached a few pictures taken from my iphone. The crowd was an even mix of Leica aficionados, and well to do clientele that were unfamiliar with the Leica name/products.

It's a nice store with gallery space to one side. Corner of 9th and F if you are in the area.

I pestered a few sales people regarding the M10, May 10 date announcement, but they all denied any knowledge...i tried.

Were the well to do but unfamiliar folks disappointed that the M9 was manual focus?

Lots of interest in the S2.

there were quite a few people there that didnt know what THESE were, and were quite interested in how it would help their photography....
