Not to diminish the efforts of the United for Peace event .... but probably, some great photos will come from this. Wish I could be there camera in hand. Not happening tho.

I'll just dig up some of my shots from 1969. Only differece is the demonstrators are 36 years younger in my photos.

I know that's a veiled comment to the effect that we'll just see the same old complainers that we saw back then. Don't sell America short. There are A LOT of people that are pissed off enough about the whole scam pulled on us with regard to going into this war, and I think you'll be surprised when you see the wide range of people that will show up. Then again, the $4 a gallon for gas may impact some people's travel plans. How nice for the oil bigs- Bush, Cheney, Rice et al. It's a double win for them. Oil prices are thru the roof, and less people may show for the rally.

I am not a very political person but I thought this would be a great time to photograph.
