Waterproof bag?

Just worked in the rain for two hours; between downpour and fire hoses, the A&A bag got pretty wet, although it did protect the lenses inside. Are there any waterproof or water-resistant bags that can hold a couple of Ms with short lenses, two additional lenses, film, and a couple of small flash guns? Or is the better option to get out one of my old Domkes and spray the canvas with some kind of waterproofing? Thanks,

We just had a recent discussion about methods of making a Domke bag water-resistant. Water-proof, though, I think you can forget.

Domke offers some of its bags in a wax and oil impregnated version. "Waxwear," I think, is one of their names for it. They are on the B&H site. There have been reports of the wax or oils rubbing off onto things you don't want them rubbing off on. Since you already have some Domke bags, you could try treating them with one or another product. Nikwax, which you can get in an outdoor store, is apparently a good choice. Recently I tried spraying my F2 with some Scothgard. I'll see how that works out, but probably the Nikwax is the better idea.

Chrome is a good bag company for waterproof messenger bags and backpacks (they're geared towards bike messengers), and they just came out with a camera bag.

Any Lowepro bag with AW in it's name. Nice bags, I have two and have had them in rain and snow with no soak-through.

Ditto on the Lowepro AWs -- short for "all weather".
My Toploader Pro AW kept my SLR dry under a waterfall.

My Billingham is certainly waterproof. Not totally sure but I believe they all are.
