Way OT: Gmail and POP3?

Sorry for the way OT question, but I figure there should be some here can answer. I've been using a gmail account for several months, accessing it with MS Outlook via POP3. The last two days this hasn't worked. Has anyone else the same experience?

Various Gmail servers have been having problems.

Mine is OK but many others have fallen over, perhaps wait for 24 hours and try again?

Roam drive is handy wee utility - just drag'n'drop files to it and it'll upload them to your gmail 'webspace'.

Also, GMail Drive is a similar shell extension, and works with the Send To under the right click menu.


Both handy to remotely store vital backups, favourites, etc, etc .....

They just added the new 'google talk' feature which has been making the servers act funny. It will probably start working soon.
