I was lucky eough to get a pair of tickets to the pre-bradway run (in Chicago) of "Spamalot". It was the hottest ticket in years - they could have stayed a year instead of 6 (or so) weeks. Simply brilliant.

I think they cut one of my favorites, tho, for broadway - the singing cow. I think the send-up of Madeline Kahn doing a send-up of Marlene Deitrich (a la Mel Brook's Blazing Saddles) was was lost on most folks. Seems like I was the only one who liked it, so maybe I'm just weird....

Ah, Madeline Kahn was great. I think you may enjoy her "Yes...no no no no Yes!" scene in History of the World Part I.
