and yes, it is compatible with the X100S, AFAIK they didn't make any changes on the lens at all (unfortunately) so the WCL-X100 is fully compatible.

10. Premium Accessories available for the FUJIFILM X100S
Wide conversion lens WCL-X100 — designed specifically for X100 and X100S, shortens the lens' focal length from 35mm*9 to 28mm*9. It offers a broader field of view while maintaining the powerful performance equivalent to that of the main body's lens.
Leather case LC-X100S — Users can remove / insert a memory card and battery without having to take this case off. This is a practical ‘Quick Shot’ case, made of premium genuine leather.
Shoe Mount Flash — Three types of Fujifilm external flash are available, capable of the proprietary high-precision TTL auto flash control: EF-20 and EF-X20 with the guide number 20, and EF-42 with the guide number 42
Thanks. But the wide-angle converter referenced on that side is called 'WCL-X100S', so my question still remains: is it the same thing as the WCL-X100 (perhaps in Silver?) or also an updated version? When you click on it, a page about the WCL-X100 opens and the S is not mentioned anymore, so that doesn't really clarify things.
if you click on the link, it will actually take you to the WCL-X100 page
