We need a name for this circumstance...

Why is that all the good deals, all the dreamed-of cameras, lenses and film, show up in front of you PRECISELY and EXACTLY when you're either broke, or your purchasing power is significantly curtailed?

Also,... how can anyone explain that the best shots, the most attractive passer-by, the really dramatic, comic or cute situation has to come up when we don't have a camera in hand, or we're changing film rolls, or we are under any other but that one which would allow us to photograph it?

Hank's Dillemma?

Shopper's conundrum?

Shooter's Shutter Fart?

Sheer bad luck?

It's happened to me, lately... both. I've seen great deals on gear that I'd be willing to sink my teeth into, and neat situations that I couldn't photograph for lack of a camera, readiness or both.

It is disturbing... and needs a name.

Further suggestions?

Thanks!!

Why don't you work out something and send it here: http://www.murphys-laws.com/murphy/murphy-Photography.html

It's called GAS around here,

a.k.a "a-serendipity"

usually measured in :bang: units,
using a Life-Sucks-o-meter.
