Quite a woman this inn keeper ! I love the gargoyle shots too. These sculptures always attract my attention on churches and cathedrals.
You can still come across old faded painted wall adverts in France, although they are getting scarce. I enjoy spotting those remnants of the past.

I very like this 'archeologic series' on Paris! This one reminds me Eugène Atget at work in Parisian banlieue...

In another of these threads, someone noted how quickly things 'age' - how little into the past one needs to go for things/people to begin looking really different. For these I'd almost say the opposite - be hard pressed to tell when some of them were made. Great pics - love the saxophonist.
