How weather proof are the Bessa bodies?

Looking at taking the r3a/40 nokton out for a spin tomorrow but its due to rain a bit.

Don't worry. In all probability, as long as you don't leave it in a puddle or sitting outside in the rain you'll be fine.

They're not. However, be careful, and don't put it back in the bag damp, and you should be OK.

I have used an R2A and an R4A in the rain - kept under my jacket and then brought out briefly to take a shot and then put back under my jacket. I then wipe them down when I get back to my car or inside. No problems at all with the cameras.

On the other hand, I've carried an old waterproof Canon Sureshot A-1 with me when I was hiking for those really rainy days, where drying the camera every so often was not possible, as I didn't want to take a chance on ruining the bodies (and lenses).
