What website builders, portfolios, blogging platforms or whatever they are called have you used and how do you like it?

I tried wordpress but found it too complicated and bloggy.
I currently use cargo collective as a simple portfolio and I am quite happy.

And I use tumblr as a blog and I am happy with that too,

Both very easy to use and still very customizable. I'm unsure on squarespace, zenfolio, and other services a like.

Which services have you used and how do you like it?

Wordpress is as bloggy as you want it to be, for instance

www.teskedesign.com is the our firms site based on Wordpress, doesn't look like a blog to me.

www.ryanwhitemusic.com is another we did and while it has a blog component, Wordpress allows for things like your dates, a store, an album section and more.

Trying out www.koken.me at the moment. It looks quite promising and I love the publish ability from Lightroom, but have not tried any custom theme work yet.

About wordpress, yeah I know that blogging can be turned off but I still found it too complicated. I'm not saying it is bad or anything because it is quite powerful for sure but it is just not for me.
