Saturday was misty and rainy, today was blue-sky gorgeous. I used my CV 15mm and 75mm lenses mostly this weekend.

Found a couple of new beaches too... Hobart Beach and Crab Meadow Beach (on Long Island's north shore). Now that it's the "off season" it's not as hard or expensive to get near the water.

I'm not sure this boat ever goes anywhere... if you look closely you can see the big bird nest. A whole new meaning to "crow's nest"! LOL

This is my favorite from Saturday...

Nothing like smoke stacks to ruin the view.

I was digging the reflection...

From Sunday... the first two are at a place called Bald Hill. It's the highest point on Long Island, and built there is a Veteran's War Memorial.

Thanks for looking everyone... always open to all comments.

Thanks Damaso and Functus :)

You can thank the mist for the diffused light... it was so misty I had to keep the cam under my coat and only pull it out for quick shots. Sometimes I wish the M8 was weather sealed!

These are very nice, thankyou for showing them. I am thinking about getting the 75 and it's very nice to see how good your pictures are with it.

Thanks Carter...

Peewee - Thanks... the 75 is a nice lens. I honestly don't use it all that much (not sure why, just like my Zeiss 50 better I guess), but it never seems to fail me.
