Weird serendipity

Two pictures, taken the same weekend, totally unplanned. I didn't set up the lime photo at all. And yet there's a "knife" cutting across the sidewalk, just like in the kitchen. Bizarre!

These are with the Pana GF1 and 20mm f/1.7, by the way!

Cooool. I think your Id is trying to tell you something: maybe it wants limenade? Or perhaps the limes in your kitchen need to be discarded.

Whatever it is, cool results.
 
Mmmm, lime ... my favourite fruit. Equally at home in club soda, tonic and (most importantly) gin or tequila/margarita. WHAT IS NOT TO LIKE???

??? Schweppes Indian tonic, Gordon's export ... cures scurvy, rickets and malaria --- and tastes OK
 
That's a very good illustration of how we as photographers hard wire our brains to respond to certain compositional templates.
