weird shutter blades in long exposures

just had my gsn cla'd and it's p.o.d. replaced. will drop by the nearest lab to have my test roll processed.

in slower shutter speeds, i need to press down the shutter button until the blades close or else the shutter blades would close immediately as soon as i release the button... is that normal?

other gsn owners experiencing the same problem? tnx...
