Well Ladies & Genitals, it pains me to say that my new M8 has had to be sent back to the seller. The cock-eyed framelines and led's and 11500 shots instead of 2500 as claimed, were too much to stomach.
I had to persue a full refund through the Buyer Protection Process, though luckily he saw the light before the 10 day 'negotiating' period was up.
I've put a deposit on a low mileage Chrome spouse, sorry camera from Red Dot Leica in London (same place I bought my 1st M8 last year) and wonder why, for the sake of an xtra £50, I didn't do this in the first place.
So a little word of advice when buying a Leica. Ask the seller what the Shot Count is from the Unique Image Number. If they don't know how to do this, ask them to send you a pic from the camera.
Finally, in your exitement don't go leaving glowing feedback before you've had a chance to field test the camera.
