No worries about hijacking! Glad you have such fond memories of this great place. SF ain't half bad though. ;-) You're right the grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence!

I know excatly what you mean. I too live in San Francisco, I think you know htat though, and have had the pleasure of visiting Hong Kong with my wife, and her family, staying in there low income housing in Kowloon, which was great. Right outside my door, a plethora of photographs just waiting to be taken.

Rich do you feel the same? There really doesn't seem much to photograph here, or that we are just so close to our city that it does not seem as exotic to us?

Hey, I need to learn some cantonese! My wife tries to teach me a few phrases here and there, but she keeps telling me that the tone is wrong, and I am saying something that does not make any sense.

I have one phrase down that she taught me, "Hey, lang loy, hobeina." Not sure on the spelling, but it is the one phrase I have down. I am only allowed to say this to my neice in laws. Go figure?

It would be cool to meet up when I'm there . . .

It's "Hey, pretty, where are you off to?" 😀

That would be great! I think we are planning to leave her on December 26th, and be there through Western New Year's. Once I have my dates confirmend, I will let you know.

Thanks for the translation! I am trying to learn this 70's expression that was a popular pick up line:

"Hey good lookin what's cookin," But then, I sort of changed it to, and still an expression, "Hey good lookin, where ya goin?"

I figure if I can learn this line in every language of the world, I will be set.
