It aint bad at all. Yep - I'm talking about my Welta Weltur 6x6 again. I took it with my on a trip and just now got pics back. For an "oldie" it does pretty well, I think. Uncoated Xenar lens is a pretty good performer and a whole rig is very nice and compact. Yes, you have to check back red window for a film frame and you have to set shutter separately, but considering competiotion and their prices - I'll stick with my old friend:
And here are some quick scans on a flatbed:

Nicely done.
Gives new truth to the saying, "Oldie, but goody."

Nice! Glad to see that you are using a lens hood.

Eagerly looking forward to getting my new (to me) 6x6 Weltur back from its well-deserved CLA (thank you FallisPhoto), see if I can make that Xenar sing as you have done.
Nice shots!

Yeah, I also got one of the 6x9s in great condition. I haven't got a chance to put it into use.
One question: is there any source for the leather side strap? mine didn't have one when I bought it.

Yeah, I got one of those as well:

But I prefer 6x6 version as more compact and with better film flatness. Plus lens is faster on 6x6 version, yet both are great cameras!

Those are really nice photos. The oald folders can really take great photos given even half a chance.
I really enjoy taking an old folder out with me. The only RF folder I have is a Moskva. However, for size and weight, I prefer my 6x6 Welta or my 6x9 Zeiss Ikon. Both are great. Of course my Fuji also takes good photos.

One of my favorite cameras, and when you get the shot right they're as good as a Hassy or Rollei. I think it's because of the lens arrangement, where the whole lens board focuses like a LF camera, that makes them so accurate to focus. Excellent for portraits too, which is not like your usual folder. I sold mine w/ a Tessar (dumb) but still have one w/ a Xenar, and your photos have got me interested in running some film through it and seeing how it performs.

Speaking of portraits - I did take a few snaps with Welta at my Sister-in-law's wedding and I think it did Ok for that too:
