Well, sometimes I'm realy bored from the posts I see here and there, about which gear is the best. I don't mind what camera you use to take this picture, whatever it is good or bad. I don't mind if it is silver print or a digital image. I don't care if it has been taken with version 2 or version 3 of the lens. I don't care if the lens is coated or not, if it has a nice bokeh or not. I don't care if you're camera is small, large, old, new, with a glass or plastic lens. I don't care about you're rich, or poor, or have the latest lens available, or the crappiest one on earth. I really don't care about all this. I don't care about you too, about your life, or your familly, or your country.

I want to see photographs ! I wanna be strangled with emotion, I wanna be deeply shaked and interrogated about what you're going to show to me. I want something that transcends me. Please show me something. Something brutal, something smooth, something that will change my day, something that'll change me. Something that'll make me different, or something that'll reveal things I have never felt before.

Use whatever camera you want, from the simpliest tin can pinhole to the best and most expensive camera on earth.

But please...every camera can make a good picture. But every photographer cannot.

(am I going to be lynched ?)

i don't care about what do you care or more precisely, i don't care about what you do NOT care about.
If you only want to see photographs, why are you writing all this?:)
:p

by the way what's up with your signature? why should we care that those shots are made with vintage cameras? isn't it only the image that is important?
more :p

LOL...That's what I thought after I read it. You delivered the knockout blow in round one!

It seems you didn't understand, this discussion wants to go beyond my own limitations and opinions.

Yep, check my Flickr link. Lots of photos there.

I forget who, but one RFF contributor's signature says "It does not kill you to look at [link to gallery]". That makes me smile every time.

I hate scanning.........

I hate scanning, but I'll pull a print off the wall that was taken with a fairly inexpensive 35mm and lens.

The house behind my apartment has an elderly couple living on a fixed income. The camera - an oldish Soviet model with a reasonably good Soviet lens.

yeah i get a lot of visits from here on my blog as well

i think people chat a lot about gear but check out a lot of galleries and blogs as well, but probably dont have a opinion of it that they want to voice

i only post a comment if a picture really really strikes me, until then, i just browse.

Do untalented photographers make bad pictures only ? It seems to me that some of them (if not all) have taken a terrific picture at least once. By chance, maybe. Or thanks to a sudden "grace". Who knows ?

I've had a week where I think this caps fits me.:bang: If you can get the tone of your post in a photograph that would be pretty fine.
