Today I bought on the flea market Welta Weltax. It was "not working" condition, thus - 3 EUR. Cosmetically quite nice, so I bought it as a "shelf queen". The lens is Meritar, nice condition. Prontor-S shutter, however, requires repair. Initially I did not intend to bother with any repairs, but maybe this can be a small project when I have more time...

Nice looking camera. If the bellows are in good shape, you will probably really enjoy the quality of photos you get if you fix the shutter. What is wrong with it, just shutter speeds, or something more complex?

I have one these too. I partially repaired the shutter on mine, only T and B aren't working properly now. And I suggest you stay away from using the self-timer.
I also need to recalibrate the focus on mine. (probaby got the focus treaded incorrectly).
Anyway, good luck in fixing her up. Might be something as simple as some dried grease

Well, I am not sure how serious it is, but it won't fire unless with a bit of help... Just cleaning shutter blades did not help, so probably something more serious, will need to look deeper... Bellows are not mint, but in decent shape, not leaks.

These are just a few quick results from a google search of 'pronto shutter repair':

Doesn't look too complicated.
EDIT: Got curious so looked some more. This looks good for the photos as well as some suggestions.

I would guess a soak in naptha and some relubrication might do wonders.
