Hello,
I am looking for a 6x9 folding camera to be an addition to my Super Ikonta C.
The Super Ikonta is a nice camera but it suffers a bit on the ergonomy side because of the dim albada viewfinder and the operation of the front focus element which is hard to grab as it is quite small.
So I read about the Welta Weltur and it seem that it should be a interesting camera as it has a coupled rangefinder and unit focusing togeter with an uncoated four element lens.
Does anyone have expereince with using a Welta Weltur for shooting?
Is there any noticable difference between the f/4.5 Tessar and the f/3.8 Xenar?
Regards,
Thomas

My second favorite folder all time, at least until I get my Frankenfolder up and running. Well built, tack sharp (mine's the Tessar), easy to use. Don't hesitate. Unit focusing really does make a difference.

Love mine.
Love mine.
I have no complaints. I like it better than my Zeiss 533/16.

Thank you nosmok and Joe for your replies!
I think I am going to one (hopefully) soon.
What is your Frankenfolder?
And what camera is your most favorite folder?

Thomas
