ok, my name is joe and i'm addicted to this place.

i felt like a man without a home, wandering aimlessly about the internet, trying to find a comfortable place to rest my rangefinder.

glad we are back!

joe

hey guys, missed ya'all

Great! I am already havng withdrawal symptoms while waitng for the site to come up! I was really lost and I have been trying to log on for every hour since yesterday! It is good to be home again! :)

last minute glitches delayed the system comming up on time :(

Well done, Jorge!!

I kept clicking the URL and hoping ...

Couldn't find anywhere on the Internet that I wanted to be -- whew -- I'm gonna hang our here and just mainline it for awhile ...

Last minute glitches are standard in the computer world. :) w

Glad to see you back up. Seems like a better connection BTW. I was wondering if your DNS was just taking a while to propagate. Assuming you needed to change it with the move.

Thanks for the effort.

We were down? Hmmmh, I didn't even notice. (NOT) :D

i survived by a) working until 9pm last night (and 7:30pm tonight) and b) finding a Leica-forum (oopps.... that feels like cheating...).

Happy to have the site back up!

Now that I have had a chance to browse the site, I can report that the performance is way up. I just want to say thanks again for hosting this site.

Joe, yes a forum other than the photo.net leica forum :)

Thank you for your good work Jorge! I missed the forum, even though the outage was brief.

Yeah !!! Thanks Jorge !! :D I found myself checking the site each couple of minutes, and meanwhile I was vaguely browsing other sites, jumping from one to another, as if a part of me was missing :p

A normal cup of coffee this morning. Nothing like a cup-a-java and the RFF first thing in the AM.

Ok, who didn't tell me that taking up a tile floor in a bathroom was a pain in the .... I don't know how many hours I had to swing that 2lb. hammer into that chisel, ouch. But the demolition is done on my remodel job.

Street photography part 2, the Woodstock Fair. I took about 40 shots, I was much better, but still didn't get "in there" for the real juicy shots.

Hey, is this the best gallery ever (that is not posted here)?

And I thought this would be nice to share.

Good to be back.

Well, I'm not fond of cows but yes those cow shots are awesome. Great use of super wide lens.

BTW, because of RFF being down, I decided to wander aimlessly around the city and shot four rolls of film. Sorry, not with RF camera though.

4 rolls, show off. :)

I like that approach though, work hard to find something to shoot and then have at it with gusto. I unfortunately watched a lot more fun than I photographed yesterday.
