Back in my Leica days (the 70's) I invested in a Weston Master V handheld selenium cell meter. It worked well but then was put up after I started using a camera with a built-in cdS cell. I dug out the Weston today and find that even though it looks to be in great shape, the needle barely moves off the peg. My guess is that the cell's dead.
Can replacement selenium cells still be found for the Westons and would it be economically feasible to try to repair it?
Your guidance will be much appreciated.
