I have a Weston Master V that I just picked up from Ebay on a whim. Here's the odd thing: it does seem to work. But to get the meter needle free, I have to lock the needle lock in the in position (that's normal) and THEN push the ASA lock button on the front (that's not normal, I think). Anyone ever heard of that?

that seems to be strange, my master V meters without pushing the ASA lock buttom and I think that is normal, the ASA buttom is only for the calculating rings and has nothing to do with the metering.
