What´s this on my film?

This is from a recent roll of Delta 100 developed with my basic routine laid out here http://billead.com/film/

Any idea what could have caused the streak on the left?

I could fix this in Photoshop by the way.

It looks like factory damage on the emulsion.

I got something similar on Eastern European made film, with the usual so-so quality control when compared to the quality that comes from Kodak, Fuji, Ilford or Agfa made film.

Can you see any damage to the negative itself?

If not, it looks like it might also be a bit of debris or scrap of film that was in the film gate (on the film itself) when you took the shot. Open the back and fire the shutter at B to inspect the interior of your camera for any shards of film or other debris.

Looks like a scratch in the emulsion. Something similar looking has happened when I accidentally scratched some of the wet emulsion off with my nail when hanging the film to dry. It could have been scratch when transferring it onto the reel for development, or even in the factory.

If it's just one frame affected, it's probably nothing to worry about. Just take extra care when handling film.
