What a shame..............

............I picked up my most prized FSU camera (Zorki 3) this morning and to my surprise I noticed a tiny pinhole in the shutter cloth. The camera has not been exposed to the sun so evidently pinholes can appear out of nowhere.
The fix was simple and quick and the camera is again in full working order but less perfect than it was and it still bothers me .
I will have to get over it and consider the fact that it`s more than 50 yrs old and even a leica could not be expected to fare any better.

It´s simply some of the material that covers the fabric has got brittle and is crumling away. The difference to a burnt pinhole is that you can sometimes see the fibres on the rim of the white zones.....Didn´t help a bit I know.....at least you have "liquid electrical tape2 a magic concoction not available in Austria! (There is liquid latex that´s available in "special" shops to be applied to the skin and therefore it has to be bought in huge quantities....)

I used black fabric paint on a fed 2 a couple years ago, worked great
