Sometimes I feel I would be lost without some of the help provided by the camera and film pros on this forum. I recently purchased an S2 where the vertical RF alignment was off. Not terribly, JUST ENOUGH, to be annoying. I did a search and came across a thread from 2006 that explained and showed with photos how to fix this issue.

I am EXTREMELY hesitant to touch any internal workings of these cameras. However, I gave it a try with sweaty palms and shaky fingers. I was able to fix it and I'm so thankful for the help.

This is a shoutout to all those who provide these valuable answers to all the questions from processing to repairs.

Agreed! I have zero experience with camera/lens repair, but managed to make an Industar-8 focus (rangefinder coupled) down to 70cm by following instructions found somewhere here. RFF is a "gold mine" worth of knowledge.
