What all auto film camera to buy?

And you could add one of those little table top tripods & a remote and do away with passing strangers...

The dearest would be Leica's to match the minilux but it's not the only one made.

Why do you need full manual control if you're carrying a Rolleicord or IIf already? Why not carry an additional small P&S (like a Mju/MjuII) for those situations?

If you want to have the same manual control on a P&S as you have on the Cord and the IIf, you're looking at serious money, and still get a camera that doesn't equal them in terms of manual handling.

Really decided on a single camera that does all? Then give the likes of an F80/F90/F100 a thought.. these can switch from full manual to full auto with the turn of a dial..

I have a Contax T2 and a G1 with 45mm planar lens. They are both great cameras and I have had people (my wife and kids mainly) to take some photos with no problems. The G1 does not have full auto (you must always set the aperture) but the T2 doesn't have a full manual mode (you can't control the shutter speed directly). Both are great cameras offering an experienced user control whilst being easy to 'set and forget' for the less experienced user. Plus the lens on both are simply stunning.

Well, yes, maybe I beter look at a P&S, as pvdhaar said, not a camera with the auto function. Just an easy to use, small size P&S.
So, the T2, Olympus are going to be studied more.
Regarding the Rollei QZ35, never seen one, not heard of it, not much information around on them, so maybe some here can help me with some information.
But, looking at what I do find out, the T2 and/or Mju is smaller.

You might also want to consider the Konica Big Mini series cameras.

Thinking: You like the view with your Rollei. You know about lighting, you can probably stage the scene well, you don't need flash. Person on the camera will be less skilled, so put them in place with a bit wider fixed focal length lens. You'd shoot it with the Rollei, so you don't need a really fast lens. And, it's to put in someone else's hands, so you don't need to break the bank.

Full auto focus and exposure, film camera. Probably 35mm lens.

My recommendations:
- Yashica T4, 35mm f/3.5 Zeiss lens. Great camera.
- Contax T2, 38mm f/2.8 Zeiss Sonnar. A really great camera.
- Olympus Stylus, several models to choose from
