Brand new account with no feedback. Stock photos downloaded probably from some online store, and a bunch of expensive digital cameras that are hot on the market. Probably some scam to take the money and run

For 125 pounds you can take a chance.. The fact that there is no feedback argues that it is not a scam, but a legitemate fool. But I agree, very, very dodgy

The NW will rise again.

Uh...what? No feedback can easily mean it is a scam. Feedback means very little. Lots of scammers steal accounts, create bogus feedback through shill bidding/auctions, etc. There are all sorts of tricks.
On ebay, if it is too good to be true, then stay away.

It's a Chinese made counterfeit Epson RD-1.

80 % of digital cameras are all made in China now. The real R-D1s are problematic, I don't think people capable of making knock-offs are that stupid to want to conterfeit R-D1s, half of them needs replacement unit, you know... BTW, all those made in China 3,4,5, MP point and shoots, are kind of, "conterfeit"....saxshooter said:It's a Chinese made counterfeit Epson RD-1.![]()
This is for China only auction, so you and I are not "eligible" to bit (Chinese Taipei is not China yet). $62 for shipping inside China? what? was the item is in Tibet or Sinjiang Province?
Anyway, a joke from Eboy-UK....

Some say Chinese made Rolexes keep time better than the real Swiss made watches. Maybe these Chinese counterfitters have ironed out all the problems of the original?

That is what I meant- a scammer would likely have stolen some feedback. Or maybe foreseeing this argument he wouldn't, etc. :bang:JoshRoot said:Uh...what? No feedback can easily mean it is a scam. Anyway, the auction ended very fittingly with 0 bids.
