What are the worst words in photography?

and i also hate "lense"

ok if multiple words are allowed, "maybe you should make an exhibition or something" (i get that regularly from friends who just want to be nice and supporting...but not knowing 1. how hard it is to get to that level and 2. how much my images suck)

Ha! I love theses ...

I have two...

"Capture" for some reason just grinds me

& an old girlfriend said "Film is dead, just get over it" .... an old Girlfriend mind you ...

But she was right ... She didn't know I had Potassium Cyanide & Ether in the next room. Dead indeed.

Last weekend, I went into one of those No Camera zones (inside the movie theater). They are very strict about checks, and the guard demanded the battery of my camera (M6).

Me: You know I can still use it without battery
Him: *pauses* then give me the memory card
Me: It's film.
Him: *disbelief* *pause* give me the battery

I opened it up and showed there was no film. That seemed to calm him down.

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
That is just so funny, really cracks me up!

Should be on the How to Corner Security Personnel List :p

I'd spent the last two hours photographing a modelling gig working with a hair/makeup stylist and she said "I think I'll get myself a decent camera and do the photographs myself - it's obviously not that hard".

again, sigh...

oh yes, I forgot lense

One of the terms that makes me cringe is 'soup' - when applied to developing not the yummy vegetably brothy stuff.

I was out with my Crown Graphic and somebaody asked me what newspaper I was photographing for.

Cheers

... yes soup too forgot that too... so that's bokeh, pop, draw, captures, minty, strobist, lense, and soup.

oh and photog ... and noob, that winds my up too

Voigt Bessa III: does that thing even work?! - yes it's state of the art technology for film
Polaroid - They still make those!? - no. I use it for only very special things
Shooting a wedding using a Sigma DP2 and a Canon shows up minutes later - Oh the pro photographer finally showed up.
Sigma DP2 - how many megapixels is it? 4.6 "it's time to modernize, my cell phone is 8"
All time favorite: I want to buy a camera that takes black and white pictures

HDR

HD video

your picture has to much noise

this camera must take good pictures

Leica is just for people with a lot of money

Why shoot film?

This picture would have been better in color

and when I worked as a pro this is what I hated:

"you will just shoot a lot of pictures wont you?"

f#*+%$¨ quanity over qality :bang::bang:
