I have a tendency to read 3 or 4 books at once to keep it interesting.

The Theory of Money and Credit by Ludwig Von Mises

Duties of the Heart by Bahya ibn Paquda, 11th century Spanish-Jewish Philosopher

The French Revolution and Napoleon by Charles Downer Hazen (Fasicnating)

Cadillac Desert: it is about the water crisis that has always existed from the Mississippi to the Pacific Ocean. And how the U.S. Government programs have all been failures.

"Later Manuscripts" from the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Jane Austen. It's about the size of a brick and a half, I doubt if I'll get through it...

One of the companion volumes "Jane Austen in Context" is far more interesting.

Regards, David

Doing this in an Audiobook... it's BRILLIANT !

'Under Land' : A deep Time Journey by Robert Macfarlane

BTW Understanding Exposure by Brian Peterson is always on my desk. A must read for all newbie's especially digital folks.

Reading "The Authentic Life of President William McKinley" good book so far, I had read a different book on him years ago that was a bit better and more detailed.

Numero Zero; Umberto Eco
A Universe from Nothing; Lawrence M. Krause
Leonardo Da Vinci, The 100 Milestones; Martin Kemp

Thanks for this thread. Now I have many new titles to explore.

'The Atlantis World' by A.G. Riddle (audiobook)
'Lancia and De Virgilio: At the Center' by Geoffrey Goldblum (print)

I have to tell my wife about this.

Several things at present but my favorite is Clive James, Cultural Amnesia. Love it, his writing is captivating no matter what (or who) it's about.
