Some LTM and M Voigtlander lenses have the same formula. Those include the 12/5.6, 15/4.5, 21/4, 25/4, 35/2.5, 50/1.5, 50/2 LTM versions and the first versions of their M counterparts.

Some lenses were made in LTM only: 28/1.9, 28/1.9, 50/2.5, 50/3.5, 75/2.5, 90/3.5
Although they have their big fans today, all of these were discontinued due to relatively poor sales.

One was made in both LTM and M, both with completely different optical formulas: 35/1.7.

Some were made in M only: 35/1.4, 40/1.4

Recent M only versions have improved optical designs for digital sensors: 10/5.6 (not released yet), 12/5.6 III (not released yet), 15/4.5 III, 21/1.8 (M only), 35/1.2 (M only), 35/1.7 M (completely different optical formula compared to the LTM version).

The Color-Skopar 50mm f/2.5 LTM is optically very good and is very handy and can be used on both screw mount and M-mount cameras. My favorite!

Leica M2, Color-Skopar 50mm f/2.5, Tmax400.

I like using my CV 50/1.5 LTM and CV 25/4 LTM. Both lenses are excellent overall, and their costs are very reasonable.
I also like using my CV Heliar 50/3.5 and 50/2.

I have always thought the 28mm 3.5 and the 50mm 3.5 were unique lenses. And the 50mm 1.5 LTM was excellent for the price. The 50mm 1.5 M version looks like a winner too.

Currently use the 75/2.5 LTM, the 35/1.4 MC, and the 15/4.5 LTM. Originally i purchased all three as temporary lens kit for my M9 until I could purchase Leica glass. I eventually did buy some leica glass but after 2 years I still see no need to sell my CV glass. The 75/2.5 LTM is magical at 2.5!

I got the 21mm f4.0 when it first came out it was great with film, on my aps-c it's only a 35 but still a very good lens.

Decided to pick only 2, and had to think hard for a moment: 28/2 and 75/1.8.

I currently have 28/3.5, 28/1.9, 35/2.5, 35/1.4 SC, 50/2.5, 50/1.5, 50/1.1, 75/2.5. Obviously, Voigtlander lenses are addictive.

They are all good, but the above two really rock on my 240.

I like all the 50's but I really feel very settled on the color skopar f2.5/50mm.
It's the lens for film. At wide open it's perfect for portraits. Dof perfect. Rendering and contrast perfect. Ergonomics perfect..... That's a lot of perfects 😛
It's a real gem and very, very inexpensive which is also great!

The ltm 50mm f1.5 nokton is also awesome. I would buy that one again if I needed the speed.

Hard to choose - so many with such a great price/performance ratio. Voigtlander is what allowed me to enter the RF world.

I chose 15mm /4.5 LTM, 28/3.5 LTM, 50/2.5 LTM, 50/2M for reasons including field of view , rendering, form, and feel.

Also have 25/4 LTM, 28 1.9 LTM, 35 1.4 M, 40/1.4M, 50/3.5 LTM, 75/2.5 LTM.

I would have to go with 21mm F/4 LTM mount with Heliar 75mm 1.8 as a close second. The 21mm gets used much more, both with R4A and M8, but the Heliar is really a great, fast lens. Throw in a Summicron-C 40mm or CV 40mm 1.4 and a R3A or R3M and the set makes a great portable kit for most if not all occasions...

The ones I still have are:

4.5/15 (LTM)
2.0/28 (M)
2.5/75 (LTM)

Complemented by my

Leica Cron 2/50 (IV) and
Leica Elmarit 2.8/90 (M)

that's a "perfect" set for me with my M6 and M8.

I went for just one choice - the Color Skopar 35/2.5 M - I just love it.

Have been waiting halfways to forever for a 35/1.4 SC on backorder - curious to see what it can do.

Absolute favourites are my screw-mount 12mm f/5.6, 28mm f/3.5, and 50mm f/1.5; and M-mount 40mm f/1.4 SC.

The others (screw-mount 21mm f/4 and 25mm f/4) are fine lenses, but not getting as much love as they deserve. In fact the only VC lens I've owned that I didn't really like was the screw-mount 35mm f/2.5, and that was more to do with the focal length than any flaw with the lens itself.
