Pentax 645D. Sold it because I convinced myself that the beautiful files it produced were just "too easy" and that I should be working harder to produce said files.
I have not produced images as technically accomplished since.
:bang:
I sort of get this. I recently took my first photo on 4x5 that I consider an actual success. The rest of my 4x5 photos were 'test shots', and shots which I made just to have a go of the camera.
So I came away from a trip with one 4x5 photo that I'm genuinely happy with. I can't imagine myself feeling the same if I'd taken one FF digital shot, even if it looked the same.
The feeling of achievement and of working for a result is not to be underestimated.
And just before anyone takes exception to me describing digital in this way, just let me say, I'm talking about personal feelings, not facts.
