A small collection of photos by Ringo Starr shows George Harrison holding some sort of camera, likely a 35mm, or could be an 828 type. See if you can figure it out.

I know Ringo likes Pentax, and George too.

The bottom 2 pictures are a Pentax SV - you can see the delayed action winder around the rewind knob.
Early 60's.... Pentaprism seems to say "Asahi" above "Pentax", so may have been acquired in UK, as the US Pentaxes of the era said "Honeywell" rather than "Asahi". Indeed it most likely is an SV, while the same model in the US was called H3v. And he has the slip-on CdS meter atop the prism...

One of George's Pentaxes (S1a) was sold a few years ago

We know that, but George had a black Pentax, so it makes sense the camera in picture #8 was this camera.

Could be. I can't make out the markings on the front, so I'll have to do a search on the different early Pentax versions.

ps: From what I saw of different models, it appears to be a Spotmatic with the two flash PC connectors on front. It's the only one that resembles what I'm seeing in photo #8.

He used the same Pentax over a year or two so everyone's right, it is most likely the same model. Paul, George and Ringo all seem to have had black Pentaxes around the time of Hard Days Night.

They have Pentax galore in the 1964 Champs Elysées Paris photos.

And the original pic, from Feb 13, 1964, maybe clearer than on the People site:

I would like to know what lens is mounted on George's chrome finish Pentax SLR at point 2:33 in the photo in the video montage that I linked above.

George was a rangefinder user too. Canon 7 with 50/0.95.

As it turns out, he had more than one black Pentax model.
Inserting photos in the post that are not the one being asked about only muddies the waters, as noted with johnf04's reply.

Grumpy morning?
The OP didn't know what brand the camera was, speculated it was an 828. Other folk, being helpful, posted photos of George with a Pentax.
And the suggestion that it was probably an SV looks to be plausible (although it's hard to distinguish it from the S1a we know he owned). here's Roger's one:
