What camera is Matthew VanDyke holding here (or think he is holding), the American Freelance journalist who was captured in March by forces loyal to Gaddhafi?

Looks like a small-sized Hasselblad with the chrome Sonnar 150mm lens.

From the looks of it I'd say it's unlikely that it's a photo camera.

But which one? Unless the guy is a former basketball pro, it is too small for even a NEX-FS100 stripped of grip and finder, and that would be the smallest pro outfit with silver interchangeable lenses right now.

To me it looks like a chrome 35 summilux ASPH is the lens. I may be wrong.

Perhaps on a small NEX camera as other people have suggested.
