... from a hospital bed and environs? with a bessa r2m, cv 50/2.5 cs and cv 35/2.5 cs, ap 400/tri-x?
landscape:
windowlit still life:
abstract (with gregory peck in 12 o'clock high):
something for Petronius:
a shot by my bride of our grandson in my lap:
and a couple of street shots (who says you can't shoot street from a gurney or hospital bed?):

Awesome Paul!
Working in EMS I've spent so much time in hospitals but obviously can't take pictures on the job. It's really neat that you did. I hope your recovery is going well!

Talk about lemonade from lemons!
Those are some excellent shots. Good to see you're exercising your Photographer's eye and your Bessa even though you're in the hospital.
Best wishes, and speedy recovery!

Nobody has complained about the smell of fixer in that hospital room?

Thank you for dedicating a shot to me Paul, but I´d rather see you out of the hospital permanently! (Shoot some girls in uniform for me;-)

Get well soon, Paul. This motley crew of rangefinder maniacs need your presence and your photos.

no fixer in the hospital room. i had to wait until i got home saturday. i souped one roll saturday night before the headaches re-started their assault; i souped the other roll last night with an un-aching head, thanks to a little out-patient surgery tuesday to place an epideural blood patch on my spine near where a lumbar puncture was used to take some fluid friday. the LP doc didn't tell me i needed to stay flat on my back for 2-3 hours for the puncture hole to seal. i'm telling you, spinal fluid headaches come from a whole 'nother pain planet ...

I think you could have the start of a book here
I think you could have the start of a book here
Here is one title "Notes from a hospital bed" or how about "Just shoot" I just bought a book called "50 photo projects". I bought it to movitate me to take pictures when I have no ideas, these pictures should be in that book. I hope you get well soon.

I dunno, seems like for a book to be complete Paul, you need to do that too.
Keep at it. You are still in my prayers.

Maybe "out of uniform" would be more appropriate...

you guys are a hoot. i was blessed to not have to go the bedpan route. i was on a catheter for 36 hours or so. after that came out, the nurses were careful to note whether i was urinating sufficiently in the supplied bedpan bottles in the bathroom ...

Best wishes Paul, hope you have a speedy recovery. The photos are great, thanks for sharing.
I was in hospital last summer having half my colon removed. Not a fun time, but there were good friends cheering me up and helping out during recovery. One of them is a Leica user and RFF member and gave me a hard time about not taking a Leica to the hospital. Thought I'd get some interesting shots.... Am trying to imagine a 15mm in the operating room while going under. He did bring his Leica MP with 21mm and Tri-X during a visit so my condition was recorded. Perhaps he'll post some images here?
Good news was that the growth removed was not malignant! Am now much improved and hope to do some traveling with camera later this year.
Glenn ;-)
