Local trips go in my 1983 Olds Custom Cruiser Station wagon, 95,000 mi
It also goes to the lumber yard, stone yard, Home Depot for salt and other crud.

For church, vacations, visiting family, etc, 2004 Buick Le Sabre, 13,000 mi.

They do have legit birth certificates, but no name or gender.

State Farm gives me low mileage discounts for both.

2000 Honda Insight. Manual transmission, AC(!) 70 miles per gallon on the highway if I am careful.
Other days - 2008 Toyota Corolla 37 mpg highway. Far more practical. Actual mileages BTW

I miss my 1970 VW bus.

10 year old Clio van. Never been washed. 60mpg. Holds 2 sets scuba gear or various cameras. Its transport.

"She" is a Saab with which I have a dysfunctional relationship. Despite the number of times she has failed me, left me in the lurch, and publicly mocked me (horribly rough idle, even stalling at stops, then purring like a kitten for the mechanic), I have stuck with her.

But no more. I will end this relationship. Soon.

IT is a Volvo 945, a trusty piece of metal.. There is no problem to drive it to work in the morning - and when the job is over, to sit behind the wheel and dash to France or Italy for the weekend :)

The green ones are males, and the grey one is a female. In fact, she is the Mini's mother.

'93 Montero 3.0 and an '84 BMW 318i. The white one gets 20 mpg and the brown one 30.

Looked up the specs when the new Mini was launched and discovered it weighed almost exactly twice as much as my '59 850 Mini-Minor did. That felt big after my Fiat 500 ...

Bicycle. My car is a 1991 VW Golf (are they still called rabbit in the US?), but it doesn't contribute to my photography in any way. With it, I have to have an idea of where I want to shoot and then drive to that location. With the bike, I just amble along looking for good shots, then stop by the roadside quickly and get them.

A 2004 Mercedes C200 Sports Coupe. I am not sure if I think of it in he / she terms but if I did I suppose it would be a she.

Love the quote by P.J. O'Rourke:

"There are a number of mechanical devices which increase sexual arousal, particularly in women. Chief among these is the Mercedes-Benz 380SL convertible."

But I could not afford one of those so I can only half sexually arouse them. :D

And I am also reminded of the Lord Flashheart quote from the last BlackAdder series

Lord Flasheart: All right men, let's do-oo-oo it! The first thing to remember is: always treat your kite.

[Flashheart taps the picture of the Sopwith Camel with his cane]

Lord Flasheart: like you treat your woman!

[Flashheart whips the air with his cane]

Lieutenant George: How, how do you mean, Sir? Do you mean, do you mean take her home at weekends to meet your mother?

Lord Flasheart: No, I mean get inside her five times a day and take her to heaven and back.

oooooh I am awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
