It seems that, occasionally, some light is leaking into my photos.
See here, here, and here

(I've put notes on the photos where the light leak is, just hover your cursor over the photo)

Is this caused by not wearing a lens hood, or is some light leaking into my camera?
I used a Rokkor 40mm 2.0, and no filters.

Cheers!

I don't think those are light leaks. They look like light that is directly or indirectly striking your lens and causing what you're seeing.

thanks

thanks

Thanks, that would be good news for me.

Don't think it occurred anymore after I started using a shade. But then again, it only happened infrequently.

lens hood

lens hood

For me a lens hood has now given me an even greater advantage: I don't use lens caps anymore, which I often forgot to take off before shooting!

yeah, i think it's not light leaks too.. more of a flare problem.. cus i also noticed that it's only happening near the edges and you could only shows three pics, which then gives me some assumptions that the rest are fine.. so it's more likely to be flare than leaks..
