First off: I love my X100. It actually got me back into photography in 2011. I've since been shooting an XPro, XE1 and currently a pair of XT1's, but I still keep grabbing the X100 when it's not an assignment.
I'm considering upgrading to a newer model in the same series... I was just wondering: is there any news or rumors regarding the X100T's follow-up? Will there be an X100...U? Or will the T be the last of the line?
The main reason I'm asking is that the X100T looks like a fantastic camera, but it has been out for a while and I'm not in a hurry. I would like to buy the WCL-X100 as well. If a similar follow-up camera is likely, I could already buy the wide-angle converter, be happy with that and shoot until a new version comes along. If however the X100T is likely to be the last of the line (that the converter would fit) I'd probably buy an X100T and the WCL-X100 right now.
Either way i'll be happy shooting with the X100(#) but if there's any news out there it would help me make an informed decision. Thanks in advance!
Jonas
PS. Also considering changing one of the XT1's for an XPro2.. but that's another story

X200 rumored suffice about 2-4 weeks ago. Does not appear to be the same 35f2 instead rumor of a 28f2 instead like the x70, but w/ ovf/Evf design.
Personally, I was hoping for a 40 or 50 fov design. Since the 27 pancake came out, I've been using this in preference to the x100 anyway.. 40ish fov, since 40ish fov is my prefered.
Anyway all just rumors..

Thanks for the response & sorry for my late answer.
I went ahead and bought the WCL-X100, I might see if I can find a good deal on a used X100S or X100T so I could have the same sensor in all my cameras (a pair of XT1's), I find that makes post-production so much less of a hassle.
No point in waiting for a nonexistent camera!

I'm interested to see if Fuji offers the X100T successor this fall. A while back, I read that it may be a 28mm lens, which I would have no interest in. If it were 35mm, it could be of interest. I'm also looking to see if Leica comes out with a Q at 35, 40, or 50. For me, 28mm simply does not work.

X100F if they stay consistent. X100, X100S (second), X100T (third), X100F (fourth).

Huh, I had never thought of this... is this accurate? Another popular name is the X200.

How very anglocentric! With all the retroisms on the X series, I would guess that the sequence would be from Latin or Greek, like old Nikkors. So X100Q.

I recommend going straight for the T. I think updates are worth it. (wifi, better af and mf, more aperture stops, more exposure compensation options, the little extra evf window in the OVF.. love that thing for manual focusing)

I don't see much to improve as far as image quality goes.
I love my X100T just the way it is!
maybe the new 24mp sensor with more/wider PDAF coverage..but, more MP's = smaller photosites and possibly higher noise past 3200...but offers more detail recorded.. a trade off for many
maybe a larger buffer (we all complain about buffer size, don't we?)

I just don't see this playing out when using the X-Pro2.

How about an X100M with a medium format sensor?
Besides that pipe dream I'm sure the new 24MP x-trans sensor is certainty. Perhaps at Photokina?

After falling back in love with the X100T, I'm excited to see what is next for this camera. I'm thinking it'll be the same camera with X-Pro2 like upgrades.

I believe it would be Uncanny X100 or Ultimate X100.
Oh wait...I was thinking of the X-Men.

They really need to improve the lens on this camera though...
