recently introduced new MacBooks dropped prices of previous generation because stores clean up space for new models. so I bought black EOL MacBook to home (similar opportunity was year ago when D200 came). its first computer for about 10 years that I decided to burn my own money, usually these machines from from my employer.
Leopard to my eyes isn't that much different compared to previous Tiger. apart from some things like lack of proper docking station, and small number of USB ports, the purchase seems successful, and Vista laptop have started to stay at office, not needing to carry it with me home anymore.
I was waiting new Mini for a year before ended up buying this MacBook. Apple seems very slow updating this product of their portfolio, wonder why ?

Changed from Mandriva 2006 (KDE3.5.x) to Kubuntu 8.10 (KDE4.1.2), and am rather enjoying the lack of editing files to get updates.

When I voted on this poll, I was at home, and so I said Mac OSX. Now I'm at work, so I must divulge that I am typing on a Dell machine running XP pro.
