Nikkormat FTN, Nikkor 50/1.4 and Tri-X pushed to 640 ISO. I was at a crowded street scene. Always shoot the FTN on New Year's Eve. Only time I use it. Keep thinking that I can afford to lose it if somehow in the crowd it gets stolen or busted, but it never happens. At least not for the last 39 years I've owned it.

A single roll of HP5+ at ISO 800 in the M6 with CV 35 1.4 Nokton. It was pretty dark at my friends place so I hope they turn out well. Focusing was difficult and there were a few handheld at 1/15s. They served a great wine too, which may or may not have helped me to keep a steady hand. ;)

Cheers,
Rob

I saw very few folks with cameras while out and about last night, despite some very warm temperatures for us (20°F).

I enjoyed an evening with friends, so I did not see any need to take photos. I may have used the phone camera twice, just to check out the phone.

After the usual food, drinks and fireworks watching, we went out partying.
Took the RX100, since my Yashica T4 has some electronical problems atm.

I shot fireworks. Does it really matter which technology I used for the resulting rather bland images?

Scotch.
Islay Scotch to be correct.
And there was no shooting per-se, just a lot of sipping.

XE1 with Contax G 45/Metabones + Fujinon 35 1.4.

As a Friend of Bill, wine/champagne etc. do not figure in my festivities. Happy New Year all.

Lot's of party photos with my D90 (at ISO 1600) and lots of snow with my Canon F-1n (I hope I get it correctly exposed on Kodak Ektar 100).

Film, Neopan 400 @ 1600, Leica M6ttl, Leica 24 mm F2.8.

2013 will be a more focus on film year for me.

Best wishes and perfect light to all!

Took a couple of shots of the nifty new Christmas tree with all its lights on before it got dismantled the next day and put away for next time. 5DIII + 50/1.4 stopped down a bit on a tripod. Dead boring, but that's how I prefer to spend NYE, at home away from the crowds...
