what do the LC RC RD etc mean?

I have just bought an Olympus 35 LC (see thread in Olympus RF forums) seems like a really nice camera with unique features, but as I've never owned an Olympus RF before was wondering what the Model names refer to, if in fact they refer to anything at all ?

Hi. I'm not sure of the above but I have a Oly 35 DC which I'm told stands for Deluxe Compact. The camera is similar to the RD except full auto.

any idea on my LC then Fred? is it perhaps Luxury compact?

Nothing compact about the LC. Perhaps it's Large Compact.

True I'm just curious really, it could be for Lance for all I care its a great camera despite being slightly larger than I had anticipated! great metered manual and very sharp lens!
