What Do You Do When the President of Chechnya Steals Your Photo?

Better watch out. Supported by another head of state ex-KGB Vlad Putin and when there is wide accusations of corruption and human rights violations against this Ramzan it is safe to say copyrights aren't his prime concerns

I'd have preferred a shot of Putin wrestling those sheep with his shirt off, now that would be a 'Putin shot.'

The best thing about internet articles like this are the comments section, often far more interesting than the article itself - though often quite scary.

Write a letter to the Russian Embassy, with proof that this is in fact your photograph and that you'd like some form of compensation for the use of your photographs. All written in a very friendly and diplomatic way. The few times I had something to do with Russian embassy personal and even the Russian presiden they were very friendly and extremely well educated unlike some other presidents and state guests.
