These are rare and hard to find...honda wants no one to know about these because they want you to spend your money on a harmful hybrid...what are they going to do with the batteries when the car no longer runs? these are great short term fixes but hybrids are not the answer....in California rescue teams wont get within a certain amount of feet from a hybrid because of the electrical shock that can be delivered....

A colleague of mine has a similar Civic with 400,000 miles on the original engine. He still gets 50 mpg. It has a high efficiency engine [or something similar].

I drive a 1993 model Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6 while my wife drives a 2000 model Toyota Camry. The "spare" in the garage is my beloved 1977 Mercedes Benz 450SL cabriolet with 71,000 miles on the original engine.

It's like with lenses; Japanese built cars [lenses] make more sense but German cars [lenses] are more fun. Maybe I should not generalize, but it is close to how I feel about it.

2003 Ford Mustang GT, 5 speed because I need manual controls 🙂 Fast, reliable, reasonably economical, cheap, and handles well. A lot newer than any of my cameras 🙂
 
i want to buy a bike i can ride to work. my drive is only 10 minutes its about 6 miles or something, so i really want a road bike or something to get me there. I have a beach cruiser but i dont really want to ride that.

gas is just to expensive these days and i could stand to lose some weight

New is nice but you have lots of unforseen expenses coming.
The VW will be too expensive for you to maintain.
A clean used Civic sounds like a good idea...

BMW 528it = kinderwagen
SAAB 92x = "the SAAbaru" w/InJen & Cobb = commuter
Nissan Titan = work
Vespa LX50 = fun
Motobecane w/ Shimano & Mavic = fun work
 
Our two Saturns ('92 and '00 SL1) have been equally reliable and economical.
Zero mechanical breakdowns, cheap to maintain and great mpg.

Though still running fine, we traded in the old one not long after it got flooded by salt water while parked.

But since GM's heavyhanded takeover, I'm not sure we'd buy another Saturn...

Not driving, riding a Honda CB750S Nighthawk. Balda 6X6, maybe Tri-X. I was out for a quiet ride by myself a year ago...

yeah that is a stock photo, I actually don't have it yet, I should be picking it up in 2 weeks.

And it WILL have DOMKE bags😀
