I've never liked images that have a large OOF object in the foreground ... and this is dominated by one.

I am not getting any resonance from this picture; the thing running through my head is "How can I fix this for myself to enjoy?" and that can easily become rude. So I won't "fix it" but will try to understand why it doesn't drive me wild.

The geometries of the sign and the houses are solid and if those trees weren't there, I could see those geometries playing well together (with possibly a slight change in camera position).

The trees really scramble things up for me at the moment. They are not background (because I am very interested in the houses back there); they are kind of blocking my view. In fact the lines of the branches are strong but they don't lead me anywhere; and esp they don't lead my eye to either the sign or the houses

FOOTNOTE: I have now just read the previous commentary, and find our conflicting viewpoints kind of interesting. In time, I may change my opinion (it's happened before 😀 ) but I'm leaving my words as written in the first place.

EDIT: Good grief a few folks jumped just a minute ahead of me ! . . . I am number 5 . . . okay, in the morning, I will post a new picture.

Agree with the magical/mystical feeling. The way she is hunched forward and the blur of her arms gives me a creepy feeling. Not what you were intending, I don't imagine.

This is like speed dating or the three minute thesis. Raid, I like this picture. Yes we know it's your daughter, but in this perspective there is something a little scary (her intention) with those long arms and the shortened torso of some older woman....
